Proudly supporting the community – Music on the Green 2017

Once again we are proudly supporting Music on The Green, by donating our time to help with their Accounting and Bookkeeping. Whats more this year we will also be attending the event to help behind the scenes.

Not only do we have the opportunity to help raise funds for some great local community groups, we also get to see the behind the scenes workings of a music event. How cool is that!

Once again we have been integral in managing the finances for the event starting by setting the budget in order to make sure costs were controlled and the event raises as much for charity as it can. Once we had the budget, we entered this into www.xero.com so we could use the budgeting feature to track the costs.

We continued to use the latest cloud bookkeeping technology such as Xero for bookkeeping, we use https://www.skiddle.com/ to take care of Ticket Sales combined with https://stripe.com/gb to take payments.

All of this meant that we could easily manage the sales of tickets and the bookkeeping for the event.

Regular meetings between our team and the event team mean that of all the things they have to organise and get right, they won’t have to worry about the finances.

Jo Conner, Chairperson of Bearsted Events says “Once again, Will and his team at Accsys have been great they have really taken much of the worry out of the finances, last year we raised £15,000 for charity and we hope to raise a similar amount this year”
