Not Your Average Accountants….

Chartered Accountants in Maidstone & Medway with a difference

What’s the difference?

At our accounting firm, we only work with businesses and business owners that have ambition.

We know what it takes to build a successful business and we know what these businesses and their owners need from their Accountants.

We have designed our accounting firm business and services to meet this need, so if you are looking for an Accounting firm in Kent, give us a call.

There are two differences that make us stand apart from most other accountancy firms.

The first is we don’t record time; we do not measure the cost of every piece of work we do.

I know this sounds crazy, we are accountants after all! However, there is method in our madness because not recording time has some great side effects.

It means once we fix a fee with you, we stick to it and then get on with the business of helping and supporting you, our client. This allows us to build a closer relationship with you and removes any barriers that the threat of extra fees could bring.

In addition, our employees are not worrying about how long a piece of work is taking and how much they are going to have to bill you for. They are worrying about getting the work done correctly and on time.

The second is that we only work with ambitious businesses and business owners, which is where we add the most value. This means we have built the specialist knowledge that is required to support you and your business.

Our clients are all like-minded individuals, all business owners who want to build and grow their businesses. We aren’t interested in working for people who aren’t interested in their businesses.

Accsys Accountants was founded by William Wood in 2008 after many years of working in other accountancy practices and in many different industries. He recognised a need for a different approach. William grew up in a small, family run business and has been hooked ever since he first helped his father make a sign, in his sign factory, at the age of 8.

William is an Accountant who thinks like a business owner and this has helped him design services that support business owners.

During the last few years, William has built a practice that adds value to his clients and, rather than focus on the past, looks at the present and the future to help clients improve and grow their businesses.

After years of honing his skills and giving lots of advice to his clients, William wrote his first book, The Organised Business. Available from Amazon and direct on www.theorganisedbusiness.co.uk

We make a number of promises to our clients but we think the most important one is that we promise never to send you an unexpected bill.

You may be thinking, I wouldn’t expect an unexpected bill anyway!

But believe us, as Tom Jones would say, it’s not unusual in our industry.

If a firm records time, they often have to send invoices based on what time is on the clock and not on the value that you, the customer, has received.

As we don’t record time we won’t send you any unexpected bills and we never will.

During his time giving help and advice to clients, William realised that he was often giving the same advice again and again and he often struggled to go into as much depth with clients as he would of liked.

So in 2011, he decided to put this advice into a book and 3 years later it was finished.

The Organised Business was written to help small business owners avoid the pitfalls that cause many businesses to fail or fail to achieve their full potential.

Those who have read it, have used it to make positive changes to their businesses and their lives. To learn more click here.
